On Monday I received notice from the Department of Social Services that my in-home support services have been approved for 70.45 hours per month with a wage of $9.65 per hour for whomever I select. The job is largely light housekeeping, laundry, meals prep, and some errands, roughly three hours per day. I already have one candidate in the wings.
Add the above to my free Lifeline cell phone, food stamp reinstatement, and in-home nursing, and in about thirty days I will finally begin saving some money every month. But late May heading into June is not looking so good. Yesterday I was unable to pick up some prescriptions at CVS because I was simply unable to raise the funds and today is not looking any better. $2.35 is all I have on Paypal as of this writing and no cash on hand save for some coinage for the Metro bus. And I still need gauze bandaging for my cracked and bleeding hands.
