Another up and down, sleeping-in-shifts last night; the main culprit is anxiety, I’m having to use my anxiety med, Lorazepam, sparingly; although the refill has been filled at CVS and is ready for pick-up, I do not have the cash ($2.60).
And then there’s the whole deal with my medical social worker (MSW). She wrote in her report that, among other programs, I’m the perfect candidate for meals on wheels and ParaTransit for rides to doctor’s offices. She said she would phone me in two weeks to check on progress. That was almost three weeks ago. She also told me to “just ignore” all of the hospital and related bills until retroactive Medicaid is approved, but at this point Huntington Hospital, where I was taken by the paramedics on January 31, already has me in collections.
A Lorazepam and a nice hot meal would sure perk me up right now. If only ….
